Since 1974, Mahesh Engineering Services has been a professionally managed trading company in Industrial Electrical Materials. What began as a local supplier in Kolhapur has evolved into a trusted national partner — serving steel plants, textile mills, power utilities, OEMs, and infrastructure firms across Maharashtra and India.

Over five decades, we have steadily expanded our footprint — growing from a single product line to over 1,000 product categories across 83 product groups and 300+ sections. Today, we represent 30+ OEM companies including L&T, Havells, Polycab, and Finolex as their authorized dealer.

1974
Mahesh Engineering Services Founded
Started operations from a shop in Udyamnagar, Kolhapur — supplying switchgear and electrical materials to local industries.
1985 – 1995
Authorized Dealerships Established
Secured authorized dealer status with L&T, Havells, and Polycab. Expanded product range to cover cables, wiring accessories, and industrial automation.
2000s
Panel Division & PowerCons Launched
Launched MES Panel Division for LV switchboard manufacturing. Established Mahesh PowerCons to offer MV/LV switchgear service and maintenance up to 33kV.
2010
New Premises — Shamrao Kapadi Complex
Relocated to 1497, Shamrao Kapadi Complex, Konda Lane, Laxmipuri, Kolhapur — a larger space to support growing inventory, staff, and operations.
2020s
SunStore Solar Division
Entered the renewable energy segment with SunStore Solar — offering rooftop solar EPC, solar water pumping and net metering solutions for commercial, industrial and agricultural clients.
